Olivia Campos, a sophomore at Mt. Carmel High in California, won the Division 2 girls title at the CIF San Diego Section Championships by covering the 3-mile layout in 18:51.4 at Balboa Park's Morley Field. Campos, who finished fourth last season in 19:22.1, helped Mt. Carmel place seventh as a team with 189 points.
